Today was our last full day in Yakima and it was a good one. We served again at a homeless mission, finished painting the house we were working on, did some demolition work around the farm and finished painting the inside of one of the houses on the farm. In the evening we hosted two dozen of the local children for a vacation bible school. It was really amazing to see our students love those kids so well. I was really proud of them.
Tomorrow morning we pack up and head for the border. We expect to be back on Klamath Falls around 5 pm, with time for dinner, worship and the grand revealing of our secret prayer buddies. We've loved it here, and it's been such a blessing to see evidence that God had this planned all along and has been so faithful to us.
Please pray for safe travel and alert minds for our drivers. It's about an 8 hour drive tomorrow and another 7 on Saturday. We would love it if you prayed for our caravan and for energy to finish strong in this great journey we've been on.
See you soon!

Thanks for checking in again! We're excited to be able to share our trip with you. Today the weather was beautiful and our crews all spent the day working outside. And we got a surprise! The local news was doing a story on volunteer organizations in the area and so they came and filmed our painting crew. We will be sending out the web address when we arrive home so that you can watch.
Right now our power is out because of a car accident up the road that hit a power line. It should be fixed by morning, but fortye time being we are making use of flashlights. It's amazing how many stars you can see when there isn't a light on for miles.
It's hard to believe that we are already half way through our trip. We would love prayer for continued energy and enthusiasm. I would also ask that you pray for the continued change within students' hearts. We are seeing some walls break down and growth in our students and I would love it if the folks back home kept praying for that to occur in big ways.

Hey folks! Yesterday was a great day. We spent it sorting food, scraping off old paint and tearing down shacks. In the early evening, we went to a Yakama tribe cultural center. It was amazing to see the history of this particular group of Native Americans.
The weather here has been all different each day. Yesterday part of our team was driving through snow and thunderstorms, while today it's sunny and warm. We've discovered that Yakima is called the Palm Springs of Washington, but it sure doesn't feel like it!
Hope all is well back home. We're halfway through the trip, so we will be seeing you soon!

Greetings from Washington! We have arrived at Campbell Farms and just had a tasty dinner of enchiladas. We are housed right next to an alpaca pen (yes, we get to feed the alpaca). It's been two long days of driving and we are glad to be here. But it's been a beautiful drive.
Tomorrow we get up at 6 and start chores. The weather here is cold and windy but things are very green.
Our meeting room for worship is a library with a very eclectic collection of globes, books and couches. We've had some small adventures so far: a knot on one person's head, and we had to perform major surgery on a splinter.
Our plan is to split into three teams and go to different work sites tomorrow. The groups will all rotate so that everyone gets to experience all the sites.
Now that we're here, we would love prayer for good sleep and good attitudes as we work together in this community.

We've arrived safely in Klamath Falls! It was a long drive but a beautiful one. The church here had pizza waiting for us, then we went to a local school gym and played a few hours of basketball. We are unpacking right now and about to do some worship to celebrate this great day and what it means.
We would love prayer for continued safe travel and patience with each other, as we spend so much time together in so little space!
We will keep posting here throughout the week, so check back in the evenings.
I hope you had a wonderful Easter. He is risen!
